Senior Advisory Board Member — Strategic Community Outreach & Youth Leadership
“Empowering the next generation with actionable skills, community ethics, and leadership opportunities creates lasting societal transformation.”
Mr. Shirish Singh serves as Patron and Senior Advisory Member of Zycon Foundation, anchoring the organisation’s financial governance, fund stewardship and resource planning framework. An industrial entrepreneur and qualified finance professional based in Kolkata, he is a founding Designated Partner of a Kolkata-headquartered limited liability partnership engaged in the carbon, coke and industrial raw materials sector, with processing and supply operations across West Bengal and Odisha. He brings to the Foundation the uncommon combination of formal professional training in accountancy, corporate law and financial markets together with the tested experience of having built, financed and scaled an industrial enterprise from inception.
Mr. Singh has cleared the Intermediate examinations of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA-Inter) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (CS-Inter), and is an NCFM Certified Mutual Fund Advisor of NSE Academy. This profile confers direct command of financial reporting standards, internal control design, audit expectations, statutory compliance and the fiduciary duties attaching to those who hold positions of trust. He has independently managed the full statutory lifecycle of enterprise formation in India — incorporation and registrar filings, taxation and GST compliance, licensing and regulatory approvals, and the preparation of project reports, financial projections and institutional funding proposals.
His executive record demonstrates the twin disciplines of rapid scaling and acute resource planning. From incorporation in 2022 he took his enterprise from a standing start to a multi-crore turnover, recording growth in excess of 200 per cent in each of its first three years while simultaneously reducing overhead expenditure by close to two-thirds — achieved by internalising logistics, handling and intermediary functions previously bought in at a premium. The expansion, including the acquisition of land and processing plant, was financed entirely through partner capital and internal accrual, without recourse to any long-term borrowing. He has further appraised activated carbon manufacturing for water treatment and pharmaceutical applications and renewable energy technologies, and communicates in five Indian languages, enabling direct engagement with beneficiary communities and district-level officials.
Within Zycon Foundation, Mr. Singh’s presence ensures rigorous financial governance, verifiable fund utilisation and maximum capital efficiency across every initiative. He advises on the segregation and tracking of restricted and unrestricted funds, prudent treasury practice for balances awaiting deployment, and documentation robust enough to withstand statutory audit, regulatory inspection and institutional donor scrutiny. His counsel consistently directs the Foundation towards interventions that are self-sustaining rather than perpetually grant-dependent. To government departments, IAS and IPS officers, and institutional grant committees, his association provides definitive assurance that funds committed to Zycon Foundation will be deployed with financial propriety, measurable efficiency and a fully auditable trail from sanction to beneficiary.
Advisory members guide the Foundation in institutional scaling, high-precision project execution, and nationwide outreach.
