Executive Biography & Professional Background
Mr. Jameel Ahmad serves as a Senior Advisory Board Member for Zycon Foundation, bringing an extraordinary depth of command-level expertise in security operations, crisis management, and large-scale institutional governance. A retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Border Security Force (BSF), India, he carries over 36 years of distinguished service directing protective operations, surveillance infrastructure, and emergency-response systems for national and international mandates.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ahmad has commanded multi-thousand-person security operations across sensitive, high-risk regions — demonstrating the same scale of command directly transferable to large-scale community and institutional programs. He led intelligence-gathering and rapid crisis-response functions, developing protocols for fast, coordinated action under pressure. As a Law Officer within BSF, he built deep working knowledge of regulatory compliance, legal risk, and government liaison — expertise directly applicable to the Foundation's governance and regulatory framework.
Mr. Ahmad's international credentials include coordinating security operations during the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Kosovo, where he managed conflict stabilization and civilian protection in a multinational, high-stakes environment. He further served as an International Security Advisor delivering border-management and security training to Mongolian border forces, establishing a proven track record of advisory work at the global level.
