Dr. Hiranmay Mistri serves as a Senior Advisory Board Member for Zycon Foundation, bringing distinguished academic credentials and deep expertise in cutting-edge technology research to the organization's innovation-driven social initiatives. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor (Stage 2) in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Ramakrishna Mission Ghatal Engineering College, where he has been shaping the next generation of engineers since 2016.
Dr. Mistri earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) with a thesis on 'Design and Characterization of Graphene-based Polarization Converters for Terahertz Applications,' and holds an M.Tech from NIT specializing in antenna array optimization. His research interests span a formidable range of advanced domains including Terahertz Communication, 5G/6G technologies, Metasurface Absorbers, Stealth Technology & RCS Reduction, Frequency Selective Surfaces, and Quasi-Bound States in the Continuum (Quasi-BIC) metasurfaces.
With an outstanding publication record of over 10 SCI-indexed journal papers in high-impact publications — including Diamond and Related Materials (IF: 5.2), Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics by the Royal Society of Chemistry (IF: 3.0), Plasmonics (IF: 5.6), and Physica Scripta (IF: 2.6) — alongside multiple SCOPUS-indexed conference papers and a Springer book chapter, Dr. Mistri operates at the frontier of materials science and electromagnetic engineering research.
His scholarly reputation is further evidenced by his service as a peer reviewer for over 100 research papers across 14 prestigious SCI-indexed journals including Scientific Reports, Journal of Applied Physics, Progress in Electromagnetics Research, and Optics and Laser Technology — reflecting the trust placed in his expertise by the global scientific community.
